The right routine depends on your hair length, curl pattern, available time and main problem. Men’s Curl Club uses one repeatable framework: The 4-Step Curl Routine.

Clean, Condition, Shape and Hold. Every routine below uses the same system, then adjusts product amount, weight and Hold based on your hair length and main problem.

Choose by the problem you want to solve
If you are new, start with the beginner version of The Routine. If your curls form but turn puffy or dry-looking, use the frizz control routine. There are also focused routines for waves, short curls, medium curls and low-maintenance care.

Beginner / The Routine / 10-20 minutes
Beginner Curl Routine
For: Men who are new to curl care or want a reset. Product types: Gentle shampoo, conditioner, curl cream or mousse, optional gel.

Frizz / The Routine / 10-25 minutes
Frizz Control Routine
For: Men whose curls get puffy, dry-looking or undefined. Product types: Conditioner, leave-in or cream, light hold gel or mousse.

Wavy Hair Routine
For: Men with loose waves that flatten easily. Product types: Light conditioner, mousse, optional lightweight gel.

Short Curls Routine
For: Men with shorter curls who want shape without heaviness. Product types: Gentle shampoo, conditioner, small amount of cream or mousse.
