Problems
Solve your curl problem
Most curly hair problems trace back to one part of The 4-Step Curl Routine: Clean, Condition, Shape or Hold. Start with the missing step before adding another product.
Start with the cause, not the product
A new product can help, but only when it matches the real problem. Frizz, dryness, flatness and buildup each need a different first move. This page helps you pick that first move without turning your Routine into guesswork.

Frizz
Frizzy curls
What it usually means: Usually a Condition or Hold issue: dryness, rough drying, disrupted curl clumps or not enough support. First thing to try: Shape while wetter, then add Hold if curls separate while drying.

Dry curls
What it usually means: Usually a Clean or Condition issue: harsh cleansing, skipped conditioner or curls that need more moisture. First thing to try: Clean less aggressively and Condition consistently before you add more Shape product.
Read guide ->Shape
No shape
What it usually means: Usually a Shape or Hold issue: curls are not clumping, product is going in too late or there is not enough support. First thing to try: Apply cream or mousse while damp, then add gel if shape falls apart.

Flat curls
What it usually means: Usually a Shape issue: products may be too heavy, roots are weighed down or hair dries flat. First thing to try: Use lighter Shape products, keep cream away from roots and add Hold only if needed.
Read guide ->Buildup
Heavy or greasy hair
What it usually means: Too much product, rich formulas, root application or product buildup. First thing to try: Reset with a proper cleanse, then rebuild with smaller amounts.

Next-day mess
What it usually means: Sleep friction, flattened roots or dryness broke up the Shape and Hold from your last routine. First thing to try: Add water, Shape only the messy areas and use a tiny amount of Hold if needed.
